Join as a Volunteer

Your time and skills can change a child's life. TSL volunteers are the backbone of everything we do, from coaching on the pitch to teaching in the classroom.

Be Part of
Something Real

TSL volunteers don't just show up, they show young people what's possible. When a child from a Lagos street community sees an adult who cares enough to give their Saturday to coach them, it changes the way they see the world and themselves.

Whether you're a retired footballer, a qualified teacher, a social worker, a graphic designer, or simply someone who wants to give back, there is a role for you at TSL. We ask only for commitment, consistency, and a genuine desire to see young people thrive.

No matter your background or location, reach out and we will find a role that makes the best use of your skills.

Volunteer Roles Available

All roles are unpaid but deeply rewarding. Training and onboarding is provided for every volunteer who joins us.

Football Coach

Lead or assist training sessions for children aged 8–17. A coaching badge is helpful but not required, we provide TSL coaching orientation for all new coaches.

Talent Scout

Visit community spaces, parks, and school grounds to identify and refer talented children. We'll train you on what to look for and how to approach families sensitively.

Life Skills Tutor

Deliver our structured life skills curriculum to groups of young participants. Ideal for teachers, social workers, counsellors, or anyone with facilitation experience.

Event Helper

Support TSL tournaments and showcase events, registration, setup, stewarding, refereeing, or photography. Great for those who can't commit weekly but want to help at key moments.

Digital & Media

Help manage our social media, shoot and edit event footage, design graphics, or write content. Remote friendly for most tasks.

Medical Support

Physiotherapists, sports therapists, nurses, and first aiders are invaluable at our training sessions and events. We follow strict safeguarding and medical protocols.
