Talent Search Limited is a non-profit organisation incorporated and based in Nigeria, with our principal office at:

We operate the website talentsearchltd.com. For all data protection enquiries, contact our team at info@talentsearchltd.com.
We process your personal data on the following lawful bases under the NDPA 2023:
We only collect personal data you voluntarily provide through our contact, volunteer, or Football Talent Hub forms:
We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial, or biometric data) and we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.
We use a single piece of essential local storage to remember whether you have acknowledged our cookie notice, so it does not appear on every visit. This contains no personal data and is never shared with third parties. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools.
Your personal data is used only for the specific purpose for which it was collected, in line with the NDPA 2023 principle of purpose limitation:
We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. We share data with Formspree (our secure form processor) solely to deliver your message to us, in accordance with their own privacy commitments.
Some of our programmes involve children and young people. Where we collect personal data relating to minors (persons under 18), we obtain verifiable parental or guardian consent before processing, in line with Section 34 of the NDPA 2023. We take all reasonable steps to safeguard children's data and limit its use strictly to programme delivery and safeguarding purposes.
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by Nigerian law:
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@talentsearchltd.com. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and respond in full within 30 days, as required by the NDPA 2023.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) within 72 hours of becoming aware, and will notify affected individuals without undue delay, as required by Section 40 of the NDPA 2023.
Your data is primarily processed and stored within Nigeria. Where any processing involves transfer to a third-party service (such as Formspree) located outside Nigeria, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with Part VI of the NDPA 2023, including contractual protections that meet the standard required by the NDPC.
Our website is served over HTTPS. All form submissions are processed by Formspree using encrypted connections. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, in line with the NDPR 2019 security obligations.
If you believe your data rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC):
We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly before you contact the NDPC.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in Nigerian data protection law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
